Microblading is a semi-permanent technique which enhances the look of your eyebrows. It is done by using a microblade consisting of microscopic needles which deposit pigment into the dermal layer of the skin (much closer to the surface of the skin than a traditional tattoo). A high level of precision and expertise is used to ensure the shape and density complement your face shape creating natural looking, full and realistic eyebrows. The pigment chosen is based on your own skin tone and natural hair colour to ensure the hair stokes blend seamlessly with yours, or it can also provide a natural look if those hairs are missing. Your brows should be as unique as you are therefore my focus is beyond the trend, creating brows that perfectly compliment your features and above all else... look natural!
Age recommendation.
Microblading is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. It is ideal if you are looking for thicker, fuller or more defines brows, or to replace hair that is missing either due to over plucking, genetics or medical conditions. Microblading is a semi permanent procedure which means the pigment will fade overtime.
Mapping
Mapping is the part where I draw on your eyebrows using a pencil and expertly developed mapping techniques. Mapping eyebrows is not guess work, it involves using the best tools and techniques in the industry to ensure the shape compliment your facial structure, follow your natural hair pattern, and ensure outstanding results. The carefully mapped eyebrows provide a template for me to work on and also provide you the opportunity to ensure you are happy with the shape before we proceed.
Health and Safety
Health and safety practices are of paramount consideration and at Brow Haus Collective, you are in safe hands. I am fully certified in health and safety practices and have worked as a salon manager for many years.
The Benefits
Microblading is especially beneficial for the following people:
The Process
Preparation: Following a successful patch test and consultation, the procedure begins by applying a numbing cream which contains lidocaine. The cream is applied for approximately 20 minutes and is a crucial part of the process ensuring any potential discomfort is kept to a minimum.
Mapping: Once the area is sufficiently numbed, the brow shape is mapped out using a precise technique to ensure the shape complements your facial features, bone structure and of course your own personal preference. Specialist brow mapping tools are used to ensure accuracy and symmetry. Once the shape is created this is shared with you to ensure you are happy.
Pigments/ colour choice: I use Permablend pigments which are hypoallergenic, vegan and cruelty free. They have the highest level of lightfastness which means that as the pigment fades, the colours which make up the pigment fade at an equal rate preventing your pigment from fading into an undesirable colour. Permablend are world leading experts and their pigments have long lasting colour retention therefore a small top up appointment every 12-18 months will ensure your eyebrows always look their best.
The pigment used should match as closely as possible to your natural hair colour and this can be achieved using the Permablend range. The colour will ALWAYS be agreed with you before we begin the procedure.
Microblading: Microblading continues to be one one of the most popular semi permanent makeup treatments available for women and men and with good reason. It is achieved using a hand-held tool which is used to create very realistic hair-like strokes. These strokes can be so realistic, it can be very hard to tell which are real hairs and which ones are in fact microbladed. In the right hands, it should be a reasonably comfortable and relaxing treatment. Microblading is £200 which includes the initial treatment session and a top up session 4-6 weeks later.
Following your appointment a comprehensive aftercare pack is provided to ensure you have everything you need to ensure your brows heal beautifully.
The end result are beautiful, authentic and natural looking brows which need little to no maintenance.
Full treatment price £200. This includes a top up treatment at 4-6 weeks. A £50 deposit is required for all bookings.
